Belly fat does not have the best aesthetic appeal, but that’s not the only reason you’d want to get rid of it; it is also an indicator of ill health. Belly fat is an indicator that you are at risk of hypertension, diabetes, and even cancer. It increases your risk of having inflammatory diseases and wear-and-tear conditions such as arthritis. It is a good idea to do something about it, and fast. When it comes to belly fat, I would like you to think and stick to these three things; diet, exercise, and supplements.
When it comes to diet, I recommend the ketogenic diet. The key thing about the diet is that it restricts carbohydrate intake and allows you to enjoy healthy fats from avocados, bacon, cheese, cream, milk, etc. Just by itself, it has enormous fat burn potential by forcing your body to use fat as an energy source. This diet will have you on your way to looking and feeling optimal in a short time.
Now, you cannot optimize fat burn without an exercise routine. The key word here is moderate cardio exercises. The idea is for you to have an exercise routine that is not extreme. That’s about 30 minutes of cardio for most days of the week. You can achieve this by running, jogging, cycling, swimming or any other sport you may enjoy. Cardio exercises have your heart racing and your body sweating. It’s an excellent way for you to enjoy the feel-good hormones your body secretes following exercise such as endorphins. For optimized fat burn, you may want to add interval exercises. For example, you may jog casually for 2 minutes followed by 1 minute of an intense jug before coming down to your regular pace.
Diet and exercise alone may not be enough for you to get the best out of life. The body requires a whole list of nutrients to function optimally, and you can get these from the many fruits and vegetables from your organic grocer. However, many people struggle to find the best fruits and vegetables that contain the right selection of nutrients that will keep your body running optimally in this challenging 21st century.
